On Thursday 16 October, from 6.30-8.30pm, The Galleria shopping centre will open its doors for Hertfordshire students to enjoy an evening of exclusive discounts and entertainment as part of its annual student lock in.
For one night only retailers such as French Connection, HMV, Calvin Klein, Gap and Nike will offer fantastic discounts on fashion, homeware and beauty.
Students will also be able to take advantage of food and drink offers throughout the evening as restaurants including Chiquito, Nandos and Pizza Express get involved in the event.
There will also be plenty of entertainment with a DJ to create a party atmosphere and student shoppers will be able to let their inner-animal escape at the jungle-themed ‘Get Wild adventure play area. It’s the third year that the event has taken place and in previous years more than 3,500 students have attended the exclusive evening. This year organisers say they’re expecting even more, with 1,000 students already signed-up for the event.
Tim Stirling, Centre Director at The Galleria, said: “The student lock in is the perfect opportunity for students to update their wardrobe, purchase new interiors for their digs and enjoy a good night out.
The event is an absolute must for new and returning students as many of the stores will only offer these exclusive discounts on the evening. Because of the popularity, we are encouraging all students that are keen to attend to sign-up as soon as possible.”
