If you are heading down to the City any time soon, make sure Carnaby Street is one of your destinations. Carnaby is home to some of the best men heritage brands such as Ben Sherman, Dr Martens, Pepe Jeans, Laurel Wreath by Fred Perry and Mark Powell tailoring as well as recently opened international menswear flagship brands David Naman, Our Legacy, A.P.C and Shinola.

Independent heritage brand Peckham Rye, a favourite of model David Gandy, will unveil its debut AW 15/16 ready to wear collection taking inspiration from the brand’s 200 year tailoring history. Made in England with Italian cloths, the line is dynamic, modern and forward thinking with signature bold graphic and optical in-house prints. Their finely tailored clothes and accessories are available at their only standalone store at 11 Newburgh Street.

Liam Gallagher’s brand Pretty Green will unveil their AW15 Black Label collection which is inspired by the explosion of British bands in the 1960s in America and the hybrid styles that were formed as a result of ‘The British Invasion’ in the media. This collection features British military undertones, mod tailoring, floral patterns and textured fabrics. Key pieces include the leopard jacquard tuxedo and the double breasted Shearling Coat inspired by a similar piece worn by Brian Wilson. Black Label will be available at the Pretty Green flagship store at 57 Carnaby Street this July.

Heathcote Matte Black

Cubitts is a modern independent British eyewear company offering a range of handmade frames including optical and sunglasses. The brand recently launched their 2015 collection and the range of men’s spectacles and sunglasses is composed of seven new styles. Cubitts has introduced new matte finish colours to some of the range as well as new acetate colours such as Quartz, Granite, Blonde and Agate. The new range is available at their flagship store in 37 Marshall Street. Cubitts is also introducing in-store eye testing and bespoke eyewear services this month.

Popular Scottish menswear brand Lyle & Scott will launch Lyle & Scott Junior in February in their Carnaby Street flagship store which has also been recently refurbished.
