30 bloggers that you should be following (Part I)

After days of deliberations, a panel from our senior editorial team (Jade, Hayley and I) finalised our list of thirty up-and-coming bloggers that you should be following. No bribes, no besties. Just thirty fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers that we think are definitely worth following. For convenience, here are the first ten – we hope you agree and don’t forget to follow them.

1. Gemini Fatale (Fashion)

“Well for starters my name is Kiran and I am currently studying broadcast journalism at university. I hope to one day become a news anchor or a talk show host and if all fails I’ll write scripts for movies and tv sitcoms or maybe even dabble a little in acting. I aim a little too high don’t I? but I guess that one of the things I like about myself, I honestly believe that you achieve your dreams if you dream big!!

2. The Scientific Beauty (Beauty)

“My name is Sophie, I live in Manchester in the UK. I have a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool and am currently doing a PhD in Protein Biochemistry at the University of Manchester. Whilst I’m loving life in the lab for the moment, in the long term I would love to have a job in science communication, in helping the public to understand the really exciting breakthroughs that are made in labs across the globe every day! This blog seemed like a great way to practice writing about science in a way that anyone can understand.

3. Miss Emma Charlotte (Fashion)

“The great thing about beauty blogs/vlogs is that they remove some of the anxiety surrounding whether the product you’re going to buy is actually going to work! or for me at least haha 🙂 This has been a godsend with amazing products such as the Beauty Blender and the infamous Nars “orgasm” blush. However, sometimes it is fun to try some lesser known products! So here we are: my favourite *secret* beauty product – I say secret in a joking way, obviously lots of people know this brand but they aren’t as well known, at least in the UK, but they really deserve the recognition!”

4. Thou Shall Not Covet  (Beauty)

“Thou Shalt Not Covet… is a blog dedicated to my obsession with beautiful things, from fashion and make up, to lifestyle and travel. I will also be including product reviews, and anything else I want to share with the world!”

5. The Amber Spyglass (Beauty)

“Hello! My name is Amber, and I am so pleased you’ve popped over! You can find me cuddled up with my cat somewhere in the Midlands countryside, swatching lipsticks, reading books, baking cakes and untangling fairy lights, but it’s probably easiest for you to just come and see me here. This little bit of internet is the place where I write about things that I love, big or small, and regularly of the make-up variety. I’m a fan of flowers, candles, strong brows, a glass of wine and geeky tv shows. It’s lovely to meet you, and I hope you stick around!

6. Famous In Japan (Beauty)

“Famous in Japan is written by Danniella Josephine; a red lipstick loving Yorkshire pudding who struggles to write in third person.”

7. Rebecca Coco (Fashion & Beauty)

“I’m Rebecca, I have recently finished studying at the University of Derby where I completed a BSc Psychology degree. One night while reading my favourite blogs I thought I would join in on the fun, and Rebecca Coco was started. I love to write about all things Fashion and Beauty related and hope that you enjoy my posts! Remember that these are all my own opinions so am just recommending products that work well for me and that I love.”

8. Love Beauty & Spa (Beauty)

“My name is Lottie and I have just graduated from the London College of Fashion with a degree in Beauty Therapy and Spa Management. I am truly passionate about the entire beauty industry, and have recently set up my own beauty therapy business, Heartsease Beauty. I have always enjoyed writing, so I decided to combine my love for writing and the beauty industry and create Love Beauty and Spa.”

9. Beautiface (Beauty)

“I hate writing about me pages… not sure why I included one really. I am a twenty something blogger with a love for all things makeup and an even bigger love for a bargain!”

10. Wild Moon Child (Beauty)

“Welcome to my little slice of the internet, my names Danielle and this is my blog: Wild Moon Child, here you will find my thoughts on the latest beauty products as well as the odd fashion post, you can also expect regular lifestyle posts on what I get up while im not working or blogging. Since leaving college where I studied Art and Design I have been working with Jewellery and although I enjoy my job I thought blogging would be a good way to express myself creatively. I would love it if you followed me on Bloglovin to get updates of new posts”
