Festive fun is coming to The Mall, Luton

Festive fun is coming to The Mall, Luton as Santa arrives on 29th November, kicking off Christmas fun for the shopping centre. The Christmas Grotto officially opens on Saturday 29th November, where children can meet Santa every day until Christmas Eve. The Grotto is located in Church Street and each visit costs just £4 which includes a fantastic free gift for every young visitor.

New for Christmas 2014, The Mall is home to a giant interactive snow globe located in the Atrium. This one of a kind attraction allows customers to step into a winter wonderland and have a festive photo taken with the family. On Saturday 29th November shoppers can also enjoy extra entertainment with a DJ Truck playing Christmas music, elves and dancers, plus a free chocolate fountain for all those who ‘like’ The Mall’s Facebook Page.

Shoppers also have the chance to catch up on their Christmas shopping with late night shopping every Thursday in December, where the centre is open until 8pm. The Mall is also offering parents the chance to shop in peace with their free Christmas crèche* every Sunday from 30th November. The Mall Nursery & Crèche will be open 11am to 5pm for children to enjoy festive craft activities and refreshments.

Kate Staniforth, marketing manager at The Mall, said “There are lots of fun activities for all the family here at The Mall this Christmas. From meeting Santa in his Grotto to late night shopping to get the last of the gifts, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone for a festive shopping trip very soon.”

As well as all the fun, from 15th to 22nd December you can get your gifts ready for the big day with a Christmas Gift Wrapping Service to support Keech Hospice Care. Across the festive season shoppers can also enjoy carol singers and a traditional brass band.
