How long have you been a makeup artist and how did you get your start in the industry?
I’ve been a trained makeup artist for 7 months. However, for years I sat in my bedroom with my eyes glued to YouTube tutorials, and then practised on friends. I’ve now established my own style of makeup and had an amazing response! Getting into the industry hasn’t been easy, once I completed my makeup training I had to master the art of Instagram!
How would you describe your signature look and what is it about your style that sets you apart from other makeup artists?
I wouldn’t say that I have a signature look necessarily, but my style is very glam and my clients will definitely get noticed. I love using highlighter, it’s my favourite part of the process, you can definitely expect to see my clients highlighted to the gods! I think the fact that I’m fully mobile sets me apart from other makeup artists, I can bring the whole package to you!
What I love about makeup
I love the confidence that makeup gives people, and how it enhances people’s beauty. My clients walk out of my room full of confidence ready to take on the world and I love to see that! I honestly feel like makeup is a whole mood! On a personal level, makeup was how I learned to accept myself and gave me that same confidence that I love to give other people. The transformation is great to see.
