One of London’s most storied nightlife addresses is back in business. NinetyNine has opened at 99 Regent Street, the former home of the legendary Cuckoo Club, and it’s marking the occasion in style, with internationally renowned DJ duo CamelPhat headlining its official launch on Friday 23rd October.
A Famous Address, Reborn
In its heyday, The Cuckoo Club was one of the capital’s most talked-about nights out. Its reported guest list read like a who’s who: Leonardo DiCaprio, Rihanna, Sir Mick Jagger, Bono and Prince Harry among them.
NinetyNine picks up that story, building on more than 70 years of nightlife history at the address with a two-floor concept right in the heart of the West End.

Two Rooms, Two Moods
Upstairs, The Club Room is the main event, with an open-format soundtrack moving between house, hip-hop, R&B and pop. It’s built for big nights and bigger crowds.
Downstairs, The Vinyl Room takes a more intimate approach. It starts the evening as a hi-fi listening lounge and vinyl bar, a place for a proper drink and a proper record, before the lights dip and it turns into a late-night party space. It’s a clever idea, and one that gives NinetyNine a reason to visit before midnight as well as after.

Dark, Cinematic and Experienced
The interiors are dark and cinematic, with rich materials and atmospheric lighting setting the tone. Behind the scenes, the team brings experience from some of London’s best-known nightlife destinations, including Cuckoo, Toy Room, Project, Scandal, Aristocrat and Tabū. That pedigree counts for a lot in a city where clubs come and go quickly.

With more headline artists and curated events already in the pipeline, NinetyNine has every chance of becoming a fixture of the West End after dark.
TrendLife Will Be Paying a Visit
