Milton Keynes’ landmark leisure destination has two new reasons to visit. Xscape Milton Keynes has opened PodGolf, a private indoor golf simulator, and The Paint Patch, a hands-on creative studio where getting covered in paint is very much the point.
They join a line-up that already includes a real snow slope, indoor skydiving and a 16-screen cinema, and they’re the first of several new openings the centre has planned.

Tee Off Under One Roof at PodGolf
PodGolf brings its TrackMan-powered simulator to Xscape, giving players the choice of more than 450 world-famous golf courses without leaving Central Milton Keynes. You can play a round, compete in interactive games, or use real-time ball-flight data to work on your swing.
Each private pod takes up to four players and is booked by the hour. Callaway clubs are provided, so there’s no need to bring your own. It works as well for keen golfers fine-tuning their game as it does for friends or families looking for something different to do.

“There aren’t many places where you can ski, see a film and have dinner all under one roof,” said PodGolf founder Tim Baker. “Now you can play a round of golf too.”
Splash, Flick and Pour at The Paint Patch
The Paint Patch takes a far messier approach to a day out. Visitors of all ages can splash, flick, throw and pour paint to create their own artwork, across a menu of activities that includes Neon UV Splatter Rooms, canvas splatter painting, slime making, Drip Bear painting, T-shirt and tote bag painting, and acrylic pour painting.

It’s also set up for private groups, from birthday parties and adult celebrations to corporate team days and school visits. SEND and sensory-friendly sessions are available too, which makes it a welcome option for families who need a calmer experience.
More to Come at Xscape
Centre Director Dan Murphy says the two openings share the same aim of bringing people together to have fun and make memories, whether that means settling a score on a virtual fairway or suiting up to get messy. He describes them as the first in a series of new additions as the centre continues to invest in its leisure offering, with more announcements to follow.
