Summer is here and despite the rain, cold weather and the fact I’m still wearing my coat to university, summer holidays and hot trends are coming fast. Surfdome is a new online shop that I’ve come across and quite frankly, I wish I’d come across the beauty a few years ago. Being a true girly girl, I love all things pink and floral so this bikini is perfect for me. I find the twisted bikini top very flattering and have a variety of patterns and colours. Frilly knickers are also great as they give a cute, feminine look. I suggest you take a look at this site now or avoid disappointment.

Topshop have yet again created some beautiful bikinis and this one is no exception. Don’t be quick to think that high waisted pants are for people who are insecure about their body…No, this style is extremely flattering and gives an almost 50s look. Halterneck and underwiring will ensure that you look as good as Michelle Keegan on the beach… Well okay, maybe not that good but no other human being could possibly be as great as her.

If you prefer simple styles rather than a mayhem of patterns, then online shop Boohoo is great for you. They have a few styles but in a variety of different colours and mixing and matching is available. This gorgeous mint green will look great with a tan and at £18.00, you could afford to get a couple. Colours range from bright to pastel, but whatever you choose you’ll sure have eyes watching you on the beach.

Like a nude bra, everyone needs a black bikini. Flattering and versatile, I particularly love this one from Fashion House… although tan lines may be a problem. Miss guided also do a great selection of black bikinis which you should definitely check out. The great thing about this colour is that accessories can be glam and brightly coloured kaftans are a must. Check out accessorize for beach belongings.

If plain black isn’t for you, then jazz it up with a print. Freemans are great for busty girls as they underwire their cups and again the use of halterneck straps are safer and flattering. With this bikini, I’d wear a simple white throw over and plain flip flops. When your bikini is jazzy, keep the rest of you simple.

River Island and Kelly Brook’s range in New Look are also great places to look. Matalan had a great range last year but this year, its somewhat disappointing. Similarly if you can still fit into what girls call ‘triangle’ tops then primark has some lovely sets for £4. B for Bargain and B for beach babes.
