Make the Most of Mother’s Day at the Slug and Lettuce in Marlow

Make the most of Mother’s Day and spoil your mum at the Slug and Lettuce in Marlow, where the team have put together a versatile and tasty three-course menu in honour of the occasion.

“At the Slug and Lettuce, we think it is important to celebrate mother’s and we invite guests to come in and pamper their mums with a selection of succulent dishes,” said Nicola Stuart, marketing manager at the award winning Stonegate Pub Company. “There are four options for each meal and we pride ourselves on presenting a varied assortment of dishes – there is, of course, a vegetarian option available.

“I would recommend starting with sautéed Wexford mushrooms mixed with a peppercorn & stilton sauce, served on toast, and continue with the Grilled salmon and heritage potatoes served with a creamy white wine, fennel and lemon sauce. Finish off with the Cookie cup explosion; a mouth watering mixture of cookie biscuit base, filled with chocolate brownie; marshmallow pieces; chocolate honeycomb and a side of vanilla ice cream – it is the ultimate naughty treat.”

In addition to the mother’s day menu, the Slug and Lettuce will also be running its usual Kids Eat for £1 deal, so that the whole family can enjoy a day out.
