Food blogger, Kate Ailey of Cooking and Carafes, has launched dates for her Autumn / Winter Pasta Making Workshops at The Mill House, Hertford. After a Spring and Summer of sold out events including a Supper Club, she has added more dates to her winter event schedule.

Kate said “I’m really excited about this next set of events, I love how food brings people together, and that is really what these workshops are about. Learning to make good food, simply, and from scratch and spend an evening with likeminded people. Everyone is welcome, whether you come on your own, or with friends and family; most importantly you don’t need to worry about having any particular cooking skills”.

Guests will learn how to make fresh pasta from scratch, in these fun and interactive Pasta Making Workshops. First attendees are welcomed with a glass of fizz, Italian inspired antipasti, including cheese and charcuterie from local suppliers and producers, and homemade focaccia by Kate.

It’s then time to get hands on, guests will make their own pasta dough and learn the art of creating pasta shapes. Each workshop will focus on a different kind of pasta, and will be paired with a delicious sauce, or filling, that guests also help to prepare.

Enjoy a glass of wine, carefully selected by The Wee Vinoteca in Hitchin, whilst Kate cooks the pasta and plates it up for everyone to enjoy together, Italian style.

Full and content, guests also get to take home a Filippo Berio goodie bag so they can experiment with their own pasta creations at home!

Tickets are £45pp and available to book online at www.cookingandcarafes.co.uk/events.
