Original Penguin keep Summer looking cool

Penguin was founded in America during the 1950’s when the Original Penguin golf shirt was introduced. Since then, the brand has created innovative garments season after season and are now well known for their iconic shirts. I personally love the brand Original Penguin and was thrilled when Penguin got in touch with me to do a review of one.

It was the perfect opportunity to do my first menswear review in the magazine and my own blog. I also have a brother, who has been desperate to get involved, so it was perfect timing. I selected the product which was the short sleeved Oxford shirt, which is available in a numbers of colours which made making a choice the hardest bit of the review. I decided to go for the ‘Nasturtium’ as it was slightly different and such a lovely orange.

The shirt arrived and for a few moments, I wished I was boy. The shirt looked so much better in real life. It was a perfect fit for my brother and is perfect for this great Summer weather we have at the moment. The shirt was wrapped in a beautiful gold tissue with a 10% off voucher- added bonus.

The shirt looked even better on. Worn with blue skinny jeans was the perfect combo. As with all Original Penguin items, the shirt was made to a good quality and the material was lovely to touch. After washing the item it still looked as good as new, it washed up without creases. The amount of compliments which were received was outstanding.
