Big news. Huge, in fact. The cast has been revealed for the new UK tour of Pretty Woman: The Musical, and it’s coming to Milton Keynes Theatre from Tuesday 6th to Saturday 17th April 2027.

Leading the company is Molly Rainford, who makes her stage debut as Vivian Ward, alongside Danny Walters as Edward Lewis and Bernadette Bangura as Kit De Luca. The tour opens at the New Wimbledon Theatre on 10th March 2027 before heading to Milton Keynes.

Meet the Leads

Molly Rainford will be a familiar face to many. An actress, singer and presenter, she played Anna Knight in BBC’s EastEnders and took the title role in CBBC’s Nova Jones. She reached the final of both Britain’s Got Talent in 2012 and Strictly Come Dancing in 2022, and more recently took part in Celebrity Race Across the World with her partner, Tyler West.

Danny Walters is best known as Keanu Taylor in EastEnders, a role that won him a National Television Award for Best Newcomer and a Radio Times Soap Award for Best Exit. His screen work also includes ITV’s Benidorm and BBC’s Call the Midwife, and on stage he has appeared in The Greater Game at Southwark Playhouse.

Bernadette Bangura brings serious musical theatre credentials as Vivian’s best friend Kit. She recently starred as Becky in the UK and Ireland tour of Waitress, with credits including Moulin Rouge! at the Piccadilly Theatre, My Fair Lady at the London Coliseum and Once On This Island at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre.

From Hollywood Classic to Stage Hit

Based on the 1990 film that became one of the best-loved romantic comedies of all time, the musical has a book by the film’s director, Garry Marshall, and screenwriter J.F. Lawton. The original score is by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, the duo behind ‘Summer of ’69’, and of course Roy Orbison’s ‘Oh, Pretty Woman’ features too.

Direction and choreography are by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell, whose hits include Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde and Hairspray. After premiering in Chicago in 2018 and running on Broadway, the show played in the West End at the Piccadilly and Savoy theatres until 2023, followed by a sell-out UK and Ireland tour.
