Casual T-shirts with a TWIST

So anyone who knows me, knows I am the biggest t-shirt hoarder, at anytime I can have 10 similar looking black t-shirts, and each one I think I really need. I can’t go past buying new t-shirts, and at the moment, slogan or print t-shirts are my biggest downfall, especially if they have a cuffed sleeve.

I have a problem, I know, but I just can’t resist a basic t-shirt. Here are a few of my newest favourites, that I have so far resisted buying.

Love this print, definitely need to welcome in SPRING!

Let’s face it, we all need a sweater to remind us to be happy.

The one thing I love about a basic t-shirt, is you can mix and match them to create a slick dressed up look, or a casual but fun weekend look. When mixing pieces that are both laidback and dressy, it’s important not to go too far in one direction. Try tucking in your casual tee to keep it safely on the side of chic rather than scruffy. My favourite looks is a mix up from the street and celebrities.

So the next time you think wearing a t-shirt on a date or a night out and people tell you it’s too ‘casual’, pair it with a funky skirt or leather pants and you will be looking absolutely fabulous! Now I’m off to add to my growing t-shirt collection!
